London Fashion Week Men's: Top 5 Takeouts

With Men's Fashion Week underway, we take a look at what London had to offer and pulled our top five takeouts for Spring Summer '19.

THEME: NON-BINARY

Non-binary models and dressing had a huge push on the catwalks for SS19. Designers sent flamboyant ensembles down the runway with a combination of toned down gender neutral looks and over the top unisex dressing.

COLOUR: BANANA

Saturated and softer banana tones presented a fresh update for yellow. Designers paired mellow shades with fellow pastels, complimenting neutrals or as a mono look.

PRINT: SOFT CHECKS

Checks reappear in soft colour combinations creating a relaxed feel in both smart and casual wardrobes. Light grounds create a perfect platform to compliment seasonal colour pops.

DETAIL: REWORKED PATCHWORK

Contrast patchwork caught our eye for the SS19 season as designers experimented with fabric blocking, creating the illusion of cut and sew. Checks and paisleys were the pick for ‘patchwork’ when paired with core colours in suiting and denim.

KEY ITEM: GRAPHIC KNITWEAR

Graphic knit jumpers were seen across Mens Fashion Week in a variety of eccentric and vibrant designs. Neon accents and bold blocking were key to driving newness in fully fashioned styles.
