London Retail - Christmas Windows

Few places do Christmas better than London with one of the many highlights being the windows of the many grand department stores and this year they do not disappoint.

After a successful collaboration with Burberry last year, the world famous Harrods has partnered with Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana to take us behind the scenes at the D&G workshop complete with animated puppets.

Last year, Liberty worked with The Royal Ballet to bring to life the classic Christmas story The Nutcracker, choosing to remain traditional, 2017's windows theme is 'The Night Before Christmas'. The beautiful products move along the snow dusted London rooftops.

Talking about Harvey Nichols windows, Janet Wardley, Head of Visual Display, said: “Themes of joy and positivity ran through the AW17 and SS18 shows, evoking a determination not to dwell on the uncertain times of the current climate. This inspired us to create a high energy scheme that uses dazzling colours, lights and shapes to entertain our customers – some of the vinyls are so bright that the team had to wear sunglasses during the install!”

And last but not least, Selfridges windows rule Oxford Street. Londoners are centre stage with Pearly king inspired Santas & cycling commuters.
