MFW AW18/19: The Round Up

As Paris now plays host to Fashion Week, we look at our Milan highlights and the trends that we're excited to start wearing.

Print: Geometric
While New York and London saw the reoccurring popular prints of stripes and checks, Milan saw the introduction the key new geometric print, interpreted differently by a vast range of designers.

Colour: Neon
The popular dystopia themed influence came through onto the Milan Catwalks in the form of ultra-bright flashes of sci-fi neons.

Fabric: Heavy weight Jacquard
Upholstered style jacquard fabric, inspired by interior furnishings, looked exuberant and rich on the catwalks.

Theme: 80s
The 80’s made a bold return to the runway in Milan, it’s influence coming through show after show, designers honing in on its brash nature to create key, stand out looks.

Detail: Fringing
Western and Bohemian styled looks were popular in Milan, with designers using fringing details as a key element of these ensembles
