Following on from the recent controversies behind Balenciaga’s Ikea inspired Arena shopper, we take a look at how far fashion creatives can push this DIY culture.

Shrouded in irony by the fact that the FRAKTA bag costs just £0.40, inspiration is drawn from the tongue in cheek attitude of the ‘Vetements effect’ and the current movement towards anti fashion as brands and designers jump on board this marketing train by redesigning items from their current range into the iconic colours and fabrics used for the simple functional item by the Swedish lifestyle store.
