OUR LDN: Chloe

Hello I'm Chloe, one of the Assistant Creative Consultants at BDA London. I'm excited to kick off our new series, where each member of the team will share their favourite London places and spaces.

I came to London as a Fashion Management & Marketing undergraduate student back in 2014 and have never left! I love the culture and arts of London, there's always something new to try, do and explore from pop ups to talks and experiences, with that in mind, this is my London...

Shop

There's so much choice in London when it comes to shopping, but my favourite place to shop is Marylebone High Street. It’s away from the crowds but still has a great selection of high street, independent and specialist shops, including Daunt Books and the Conran Shop, where I can get lost exploring for hours.

Date Night

My partner and I are huge fans of the theatre, so this is always a must for date night. We're so lucky to live in London and have access to such awe inspiring productions. The National Theatre is my pick for anyone visiting town. The concrete, brutalist building houses three theatres showcasing the very best writing, acting and productions.

Place To Eat

Being a vegetarian in London is fantastic, there are always so many places to try new things. My favourite vegetarian restaurant is Mildred's in Soho or Kings Cross they've been serving Vegan goodness for years- way before it was a popular lifestyle choice! They've even got a cookbook that's always close to hand in my kitchen.

Hidden Gem

Under a church in Bloomsbury is the Museum Of Comedy. A museum meets performance space where comedians try out new material in a small, intimate space ahead of going on tour. Every Monday they do a free stand up gig for new comedians - well worth dropping into!

Rainy Day

My ultimate Rainy Day destination is the V&A museum in South Kensington where I spent most of my time as a fashion undergraduate. There is always something going on, with global exhibitions as well as permanent spaces showcasing art, ceramics and fashion. My top tip is to make the most of Friday lates - it really is the best time to go!

Clo

Hope you love exploring these places as much as I do!

Chloe :)
