OUR LDN: Mollie

I'm Mollie, one of the Assistant Creative Consultants here at BDA London.

In today's post I am going to give you the low down on my favourite spots around London. I'm from and have lived in North London my whole life, so there may be a bit of bias towards my side of the city, but I promise you'll only be getting the best of the best.

Eat

Midori is a Japanese restaurant that can be found on the forever busy Muswell Hill Broadway high street in North London, a five minute bus ride from Highgate Station. In my opinion it is the best place to go for sushi in London, at actually affordable prices. My favourites are the crispy duck and prawn tempura rolls!

 Sunday Stroll

Hampstead has always been my bucket list, number one place to live in London. When I have nothing to do on the weekend but I just want to get out, driving to Hampstead and having a wander around the beautiful village is one of my favourite things to do! In the spring and autumn seasons, when at it's most colourful, the Hampstead Heath Pavilion is a must!

Rainy Day

The Gagosian is an art gallery tucked away just down the road from London Kings Cross Station. It has been host to some of my favourite exhibitions over the years, my favourite to date being the Richard Serra installation that I saw last February.

Hidden Gem

You'll find Trent Park right at the end of the Piccadilly Line, two minutes walk from Cockfosters Station. It's my favourite place to go on the weekends during the day with my dogs and family (when the weather allows it). With endless amounts of woodland, fields and picturesque ponds, it's sometimes hard to remember that it's actually a part of London. If you're feeling especially adventurous, have a go around the parks tree top Go Ape course, you'll feel like a big kid in about 0.5 seconds.

Date Night

For date night, I venture out of my neck of the woods, with my current places to go being the The Rum Kitchen in Kingly Court, and if I'm feeling especially fancy - Coppa Club at London Bridge. Both have the most amazing food and also are extremely aesthetically pleasing!

I hope you enjoyed learning about my little piece of London, and that it inspires you to go and explore these places for yourself!
