Store (re)Opening: Footpatrol

We popped by Footpatrol on Berwick Street, London to have a look at the store following it's recent refurbishment.

Traditionally known for being one of the sneaker hotspots in London, we felt somewhat underwhelmed having waited for what felt like an age for the store to open. Inside, the industrial use of concrete flooring mixed with steel girders for the walls and ceilings felt lazy. Stripping out the existing till point and stock room creates a more open feel and allows the back wall feature to really stand out – the neon gas mask logo does look sick.

The shopping experience does feel simple and minimalistic, allowing the trainers to remain as the main focus of the store with key apparel capsules and footwear collabs heroed at the front of the store.

We’ll wait to see how the store evolves with future launches.
