CONDITIONS

Online Purchasing

These are the terms and conditions on which we supply products to you.

 

Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide products to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information.

1.0 Information about us and how to contact us

 

We are Bureaux Design Associates LLP, trading as BDA London. Our company registration number is OC361664 and our registered office is at The Loom, 14 Gowers Walk, E1 8PY

 

You can contact us by writing to us at info@bdalondon.com or calling us on 02072473665. Calls cost your network standard rate. 

 

If we have to contact you we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to us in your order.

2.0 Our contract with you

 

Our acceptance of your order will take place when we email you to accept it, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us.

 

If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this by email and will not charge you for the product. This might be because the product is out of stock, because of unexpected limits on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for, because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product or because we are unable to meet a delivery deadline you have specified.

 

We will assign an order number to your order and tell you what it is when we accept your order. 

 

3.0 Providing the products

 

The costs of delivery will be as displayed to you on our website at checkout.

 

All orders placed are subject to stock availability. Fulfilment times will be clearly stated on the product webpage. In case of unexpected stock shortages BDA London will inform the customer via email any additional delays.

 

Fulfilment on made-to-order add on items (i.e. fabric sample swatches) will be dispatched as upon completion and the customer will be notified when delivery time should be expected (see section 6.0 Delivery of physical products). .

 

When ordering a physical product from our web shop, there will be an initial 24 hour cooling off period before shipment, whereby all customers have the option to change their mind. 

 

To cancel your order, an email must be sent to info@bdalondon.com within 24 hours of placing the order, clearly stating your wish to cancel the order and claim a refund.

 

Order fulfilment times will be displayed on the website on the product page.

4.0 Pricing and payment

 

BDA London reserve the right to change any prices without advance notice.  However, all prices in force at the time an order was placed will remain valid.

 

Payment will be taken in full, at checkout. The customer warrants that they have the necessary rights to use the payment card and they are fully authorised to use it to pay for the Order. Failing this, BDA London reserves the right to cancel the sale.

 

BDA London uses a secure payment method that is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, data bases and general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.Therefore, BDA London cannot be held liable for any fraudulent or improper use of the Customer’s means of payment, over which we have no control.

 

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

 

5.0 Digital products

 

As all of our digital products are available for immediate download, there is no cancellation available on any digital product.

 

In line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a digital product is faulty, you will be entitled to a replacement, please email info@bdalondon.com to request a replacement product.

 

Digital products will be available for download immediately after purchase through a download link. Following your purchase, an automated email will be sent to the email given at checkout, providing an additional download link for the full image library included with your purchase, as well as an exclusive link to our optional add-on physical fabric pack that accompanies the relevant trendbook.

6.0 Delivery of physical products

 

Orders on all printed products will be on hold for 24 hours from purchase to allow time for the Cooling Off Period.

 

Once that time has passed, and the goods are ready to be shipped, the goods will be shipped using international couriers.

 

If you require the shipping to be organised more urgently, please email us at studio@bdalondon.com as soon as you have placed your order, to waive your right to the Cooling Off Period and request immediate shipping. 

 

Please note that though we will always try our hardest to fulfil special requests we are not always able to due to events or restrictions out of our control. 

 

Shipments will only be made Monday to Friday, unless otherwise stated, and may vary according to the destination.

 

Unfortunately, we are unable to specify delivery times for each order. Once each order has been shipped, we will provide the customer with a tracking number.

 

If our supply of the products is delayed by an event outside our control then we will contact you, directly through email, as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. 

 

Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract, and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.

 

We may need certain information from you so that we can supply the products to you, for example, an accurate address. If you give us incomplete or incorrect information, we may either end the contract or make an additional charge of a reasonable sum to compensate us for any extra work that is required as a result. We will not be responsible for supplying the products late or not supplying any part of them if this is caused by you not giving us the information we need within a reasonable time of us asking for it.

7.0 Liability for import, export taxes, duties and other charges and fees

​

All international Import/ Export Taxes, Duties, or Charges and Fees are included in the cost of the product.

 

BDA London reserve the right to refuse an order from a customer with whom there is a dispute over the fulfilment or payment of a previous order, or when the customer has not complied with these terms and conditions.

8.0 Our returns policy for physical products

 

As mentioned above, there will be an initial 24 hour cooling off period, after this, the customer has 14 days from the delivery of the physical products to notify us of their wish to return the product, the customer then must return the product within 14 days of contacting and notifying us. 

 

Please let us know if you want to return physical goods by emailing us at info@bdalondon.com, Please provide your name, address, order number. 

 

You will be provided with the appropriate return address.

 

We will pay the costs of return if the products are faulty or if you are returning products because there was an error in pricing or description, or because you have a legal right to do so as a result of something we have done wrong.

 

In all other circumstances (including where you are exercising your right to change your mind) you must pay the costs of return.

 

BDA London will refund the customer within 14 days of receiving the goods.

9.0 Other important terms

 

These terms are governed by English law and English courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

10.0 Changes to our Trading Terms & Conditions

 

BDA London reserves the right to change our trading terms and conditions as we may deem necessary from time to time or as may be required by law. If we decide to change our terms and conditions, we will post those changes on this page.
