Coach Circularity with Coachtopia
Coach is tackling waste and extending the lifecycle of their handbags with the launch of their circular sub-brand 'Coachtopia' which reimagines discarded material into completely new accessories. The product range will see an array of all-gender ready-to-wear apparel, crafted with recycled and renewable materials. Each item will also feature an embedded NFC chip, giving customers true transparency into the manufacturing process.
Zalando Virtual Assistant Powered by ChatGPT
The OpenAI technology on Zalando will now allow customers to ask questions and provide them with relevant suggestions. For example, if a customer asks: “What should I wear for a wedding in Santorini in July?” Zalando’s fashion assistant will understand that this is a formal event, analyse what the weather is like in Santorini in July, and therefore provide recommendations of products based on tailored inputs.
H&M 'Youth Destination'
The H&M Group has announced that two of its brands, Weekday and Monki, will be merging to offer a 'Youth Destination'. The three-way brand umbrella hopes to help reduce administration and operational costs as well as free up resources to further focus on the development of brand experiences. H&M said it aims to strengthen its competitive position by leveraging customer synergies.
