John Lewis Virtual Rental Try-On
John Lewis has introduced a virtual try-on feature for its fashion rental offering as the retailer looks to elevate its consumer shopping experiences. The technology is operated by Zyler, and will allow shoppers to visualise an outfit prior to their purchase, via an immersive setting on the John Lewis Rental platform.
Sporty & Rich NYC Soho Flagship
Sporty & Rich has officially opened its flagship storefront in New York City’s SoHo neighbourhood. Inside the 3,600-square-foot wellness space, the brand offers more than just its logo-laden apparel: there’s a fully-stocked juice bar and a hidden spa, as part of an effort to expand out of the brand's “streetwear” descriptor.
Destination Barbie at Selfridges
Destination Barbie has landed at Selfridges in London, taking over The Corner Shop with an exclusive Barbie-inspired activation, complete with the first-ever Barbie Dream Wardrobe Rental by Selfridges Rental. The windows in the store also feature official costumes from the upcoming Barbie movie.
Harrods Shanghai Private Members Club
Harrods is targeting the ultra-rich in China with its first-ever private members’ club in Shanghai, complete with an exclusive Gordon Ramsay restaurant. The Residence will be located on level two of Cha House in the heart of Shanghai, and will house a bar, lounge, private dining rooms and terraces.
