The animation starred the show’s renowned characters as well as an appearance from Vogue’s Anna Wintour. The pop-cultural hype surrounding the parodied episode suggests that the industry is embracing the digital world more than ever.

Climate Activist Crashes Louis Vuitton Show


An Extinction Rebellion protester gate-crashed the Louis Vuitton show in Paris with a fabric sign marked ‘OVERCONSUMPTION = EXTINCTION’. Clips of the protester have been circulating across social media, increasing awareness of climate issues; however, critics have labelled the act hollow and predictable, suggesting that it is not enough to provoke real change.

H&M's Virtual Fitting Rooms


H&M is launching virtual fitting rooms across selected German stores in collaboration with NeXR Technologies SE and its innovation lab H&Mbeyond. A body scanner will allow customers to create a free avatar with their exact body measurements and try on items with a touch of a button. The launch will analyse the relationship between consumers and technology and help to pave the way for a more sustainable industry.

Superdrug's Sustainable Store


Superdrug has opened its most sustainable store yet as it works to fulfil its climate-positive commitments. The store, based in Peterborough, is produced using recycled materials from yarn to plastic bottles with ceiling tiles made from bio-based wool, clay and starch. Alongside the sustainable store design, Superdrug’s own-brand products have been redesigned to be recyclable and biodegradable to reduce single-plastic use.

Dior explores the wellness market with the release of fitness equipment in partnership with sports brand Technogym. The line incorporates Dior’s elegance with a range of high-end products from a gym ball to treadmill to dumbbells, all embellished with the Christian Dior logo and sporty striping.
