2000 Years of Textiles in Latin America

About - Lamb Gallery presents 'Continuities', a group exhibition spanning 2000 years of textiles in Latin America. Considered the first art form in the Andean region, textiles were vessels to convey identity and became paramount in reflecting social, occupational and political status.

About - Experience art at the boundaries of light sound and space. Thin Air explores the hidden complexities that shape the world we live in. Using digital technology and large-scale installation, the space is transformed by international artists including, James Clar, Robert Henke, Kimchi and Chips with Rosa Menkman, Matthew Schreiber, S E T U P and UCLA Arts Conditional Studio.

Barbara Chase-Riboud: Infinite Folds

Where? Serpentine North Gallery, West Carriage Drive, London W2 2AR

When? Open until 10th April 2023.

Cost? FREE

About - An exhibition of pioneering artist Barbara Chase-Riboud charts over seven decades of her innovation in sculptural technique, exploring memory, history and power through monumental sculptures and works on paper. The exhibition features a focused selection of large-scale sculptures, alongside other mediums, dating from the 1960s to the present day, including some never-before-seen pieces.

Beyond the Streets

About - Beyond the Streets London features over 100 international artists and is the most comprehensive graffiti & street art exhibition to open in the UK. Taking over all three floors of London’s iconic Saatchi Gallery, the exhibition features new works, large-scale installations, original ephemera and extraordinary fashion that capture the powerful impact of graffiti & street art across the world.

BBC Earth Experience

Where? The Daikin Centre, Earl's Court, Empress Place, London, SW6 1TT

When? On until July 2023.

About - BBC Earth Experience is the new transformative attraction offering visitors the chance to experience the extraordinary diversity of our seven unique continents, featuring original narration from Sir David Attenborough. Visitors will take a majestic 360-degree audiovisual journey as they explore iconic landscapes and connect with mesmerising animals on this epic adventure.

Jann Haworth: Out of the Rectangle

Where? Gazelli Art House Gallery, 39 Dover St, London W1S 4NN

When? On until 13th May 2023.

Cost? FREE

About - Out of the Rectangle challenges the ubiquitous rectangle framework that shapes much visual art and defines our everyday lives. Artist Jann Haworth breaks away from the constraints of fine art traditions and embraces a more process-oriented approach to create pieces that are softer and more organic.

Centre for British Photography

Where? Centre for British Photography, 49 Jermyn Street, London, SW1Y 6LX

When? Open Wednesday to Friday: 11am - 6pm. Saturday and Sunday: 11am - 4pm

About - The Centre for British Photography is a brand new gallery celebrating the work of UK artists. The centre will continue the work of the renowned art dealer James Hyman and the Hyman Foundation, established in 2020 to promote and support photography from across Britain through funding research and scholarships. The Centre exhibits a diverse range of artists and preserves photography archives for future generations.

Knitted Hedges: Connie Harrison

About - The Blue Shop Gallery presents Knitted Hedges, a predominantly South London-inspired show celebrating the green spaces of local parks and landscapes from Camberwell to Brixton and Brunswick to Brockwell.
