The UK To Host Its First-ever Sustainable Fashion Week


The UK’s first sustainable fashion week is set to debut on September 16th in Bristol. The show’s schedule will include several panel discussions, shows and eco-conscious activations. On September 21st, a runway will be hosted by The Mount Without, spotlighting a range of upcycled, vintage, and sustainable garments, honouring the overarching themes; regenerate, re-wear, repurpose and reconnect.

Dubai’s AI Seef has a brand new Instagramable Starbucks café. The café poses a unique style, emphasising the best modern and traditional Arabic architecture. The café has a rustic feel with a thatched roof covering outdoor seating and an ensemble of wooden furniture completing the interior.


Casablanca pop-up Selfridges London

Casablanca Opens Pop-Up In Collaboration with Selfridges


Parisian brand Casablanca has opened aviation- inspired pop-up housed within the Selfridges London corner shop named “Casa Airways”. The pop-up showcases an exclusive 45-piece capsule collection featuring limited-edition Azure-hued bikinis, beach towels, silk scarves, graphic t-shirts and crochet hats, inspired by the golden age of travel. As part of the collaboration, Casablanca’s luxurious international airport can be viewed from three imaginative windows within Selfridges.


The Edit London metaverse

Sneaker Platform The Edit London Enters The Metaverse


After having grown 525% every year since 2020, high-end sneaker brand The Edit London is now entering the metaverse. Its Edit LDN sneaker NFT will be available within Blockpopia, allowing customers to dress their avatar in the metaverse whilst also receiving in-hand sneakers for themselves. As their audience becomes more digitally focused, a meta-partnership with Bloktopia is fitting for the company.


Instagram NFT feature

Instagram Set To Make NFTs Mainstream


Following its testing in May, Instagram’s digital collectibles feature allows people to share NFTs on their feed. This feature will be rolled out to the masses in more than 1000 countries, and users will be able to share images of their NFTs by connecting their crypto wallets. Crypto wallets such as Coinbase, Dapper, MetaMask, and Trust Wallet will be supported on the social platform. The introduction of this new feature is set to bring NFTs to Instagram's massive audience of 2 billion monthly users.
