Jacquemus’ viral December catwalk, which saw raffia fall from the ceiling, took place on the latest date any fashion show has ever taken place in Paris. Simon Porte Jacquemus is truly a designer for the Instagram generation, and this show has proved his aptitude for a social media-optimized runway shows once more. This exact model led the brand to generate €200 million in revenue this year.

Vans x Timberland


VF Corp brands Vans and Timberland are launching their first-ever collaboration featuring a brand-new silhouette which is half skate shoe and half boot.The ‘Vans Skateboarding x Timberland Half Cab Hiker’ combines Vans’ storied skate shoe, the ‘Half Cab,’ first released in 1992, which is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary, with Timberland’s sturdy ‘Euro Hiker’ boots created in 1988.

Mango ‘Sustainable Vision 2023’


Spanish fashion retailer Mango has unveiled its new Sustainable Vision 2030, which includes performance indicators in line with key and stricter market standards. The report includes targets such as using 100% sustainable cotton and 100% recycled polyester by 2025. It comes as thebrand takes on a new sustainability road map, based on three key pillars: committed to product, committed to planet and committed to people.

Bershka Digital Fashion Collection with DressX


Bershka has further expanded its presence in the metaverse with the launch of a purely digital fashion collection made in collaboration with DressX.The partnership with the virtual fashion specialist aims to launch a holiday collection targeting Gen-Z customers. The four items in the collection are available to “wear” via augmented reality (AR) lens filters.

Twitter Launches Verification Badge for Businesses


Twitter is replacing its former blue ticks with gold ones for businesses. These gold ticks can already by seen on company profiles such as LVMH, Kering, Stella McCartney, Valentino and H&M. Notable individuals and companies who were verified during Twitter’s previous ownership will have a blue tick, which when clicked will now state: “This is a legacy verified account. It may or may not be notable”.
